Traditional belt model, this entry-level model, is 100% leather. We are talking about an entry-level model because the lining is here in split leather and not in full grain leather. The split leather, unlike the full grain leather is the part of the skin the closest to the fat and flesh of the animal and not the upper part of the epidermis.
The split leather is considered to be slightly less flexible than the full grain leather, a little less resistant but don't worry it will never tear. The split leather is more difficult to patina which is of no importance for a lining. The outer part of the belt of this model is obviously full grain leather. The use of split leather in the lining simply allows for entry-level models that are less expensive. All dress belts which are lined are only made of leather, you will not find any model of synthetic or plastic lined belt on our online store. Our liners do not break or crack. Our belts are generally lined with calfskin, when this is not the case (other type of leather), this is clearly indicated in the model description sheet.

Our belts are custom fit according to the pant size you told us when ordering, a dress belt is worn on the third or fourth hole, it must be properly adjusted to complete your outfit perfectly. If you don't know your pant size follow our size guide to measure one of your belt.
